delicate paper wings land in need of repair, open
displaying symmetrical patterns, painted
by the creator, vibrant turquoise, tips the fragile edge
dusty pebbles, regenerating sun, prepares the runway
as delicate paper wings flutter in anticipation
ultimately taking flight
